Firetech was started by two mates, Peter Mamone and Kim Finlay, to provide quality bushfire assessment services to the Northern Rivers community in New South Wales, Australia.
Peter has attained BPAD Level 2 accreditation and therefore is recognised by the NSW RFS as a qualified consultant in bushfire risk assessment. Peter has also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Bushfire Protection through the University of Western Sydney and has extensive practical experience in bushfire assessment and design.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science (Southern Cross University) and has extensive practical experience in strategic bushfire planning & prevention through over 10 years of working with respective Northern Territory & Queensland Parks & Wildlife Services.
